The interior design of the newly constructed building for Shali Holding, a company specializing in iron and metal trading, spans four floors and was initiated with two primary objectives in mind:

  • Achieving design harmony across the units while ensuring differentiation among them.

  • Establishing a visual identity for each floor that aligns with the company's brand and the identity of its members. The spaces within each unit were divided and designed according to the client's requests as follows:

  • The unit's entrance is designated for the reception desk.

  • The open-plan office, where circulation, fluid movement, and the softness of the space were key design considerations.

  • The waiting area, located at the core of the office, where soft lines and volumes create a sense of calm for the users.

  • Two executive offices and two separate shared workspaces for the staff reporting to each manager.

  • A conference and meeting room.

One of the challenges of this project was designing multiple spaces within the limited area of each unit while addressing the issue of natural lighting in the rectangular layout. To achieve this, we used frosted glass for privacy and perforated metal sheets that allow light to pass through for partitioning. Additionally, to create a cohesive design, we painted the metal sheets in warm brick tones, complementing the curved lines of the overall design
